About Us
Built to stand apart.
Heavy oxidized silver for the ones who never blended in.
Hard Heart started with a simple frustration: most jewelry is made to disappear. Thin, polite, forgettable — designed to match everything and say nothing. We wanted the opposite.
We make heavy, sculptural rings in oxidized sterling silver — pieces with weight in the hand and intent in the design. Skulls, saints, serpents, and sigils, reinterpreted darker and sharper. Each one is cast and finished by hand, oxidized on purpose so every edge and every detail stands out in shadow.
This isn't jewelry as an afterthought. It's armor. Something you put on when you want to be seen exactly as you are — and you don't need anyone's permission to be it.
Why oxidized silver
Bright, polished metal hides. Oxidized silver reveals. By darkening the recesses and leaving the high points to catch the light, oxidization turns a flat object into something with depth, contrast, and presence.
It also ages with you. Over time, the finish shifts and develops a patina — high-contact areas lighten, crevices stay dark, and the piece slowly becomes a record of how it's been worn. No two end up identical. That's not a flaw. That's the point.
How we work
Made heavy
Real weight, real sterling silver. Built to be worn hard and to last.
Finished by hand
Each piece is oxidized and finished by hand, so the detail and contrast are deliberate.
Limited by design
We release in limited runs — and our sealed Editions are numbered and never reissued.
The Editions
Beyond our core line, we release sealed Editions — single pieces offered in a handful of numbered casts, each sold only once. When the casts are gone, the Edition closes for good. No restocks. No reissues. Just a small number of people who own something that won't be made again.
It's scarcity with meaning, not a marketing trick. Some things should be hard to get.
Who it's for
For the ones who move different. Who treat what they wear as a statement, not a default. Who'd rather own one heavy, deliberate piece than a drawer full of thin, forgettable ones.
If that's you — welcome. You're who we built this for.
