Every Hard Heart ring is covered by a free Lifetime Guarantee against manufacturing defects. If a covered piece fails under normal wear, we replace it — no charge.

How the Lifetime Guarantee works

Our Lifetime Guarantee covers every non-limited Hard Heart ring against defects in materials and craftsmanship under normal wear. If your piece develops a genuine fault — a structural crack, a setting failure, or a manufacturing defect — we will replace it with the same piece, free of charge.

If we no longer carry that exact piece, you may exchange it for another piece of equal or lesser value.

Please note: once a piece has been received at our facility for a guarantee claim, we are unable to return that original piece to you — it is replaced, not returned.

About oxidized silver (this is not a defect)

Our pieces are intentionally oxidized and finished by hand. Over time, the finish will naturally shift, deepen, and develop a patina with wear — this is a feature of oxidized sterling silver, not a fault, and it is part of how each piece ages with you. Natural patina, gradual lightening of the oxidization on high-contact areas, and minor variations in finish between pieces are normal and are not covered as defects.

Silver can be gently polished back toward its original contrast with a soft jewelry cloth. We're happy to share care guidance any time.

What's covered

Structural defects in the band or setting under normal wear.
Manufacturing faults present from the moment you received the piece.
Stones that come loose or fall out due to a setting defect (not impact).

What's not covered

Natural oxidization changes, patina, and finish variation (see above).
Damage from accidents, drops, crushing, or improper handling.
Normal wear such as light surface scratches from everyday use.
Damage from exposure to chemicals, perfumes, chlorine, or saltwater.
Loss or theft of the piece.
Pieces altered, resized, or repaired by anyone other than us.

Limited Editions

Our sealed Editions (such as Null Edition and Base Unit) are numbered, one-of-a-kind releases that are never reissued. Because each cast is unique and cannot be remade, covered defects on Edition pieces are handled as a repair wherever possible. If a piece cannot be repaired, we will work with you on a fair resolution, which may include an exchange for another available piece of equal or lesser value.

Your statutory rights

This Lifetime Guarantee is offered in addition to — and does not replace or limit — your legal rights as a consumer under EU and Portuguese law, including the legal guarantee of conformity.
